Join the fun of learning this Victorian art. It has a variety of uses including edging of pockets & collars, crazy quilts, Christmas ornaments, etc. Unlike crocheting, tatting consists of only one stitch, the double stitch. Tatting is very portable and uses very little thread compared to crocheting. This is fine, detail work. A shuttle and some thread can be placed in a sandwich bag in your purse to keep you company wherever you go. Students will learn both shuttle tatting and needle tatting. Right-handed as well as left-handed students are welcome. Tuition includes $14 materials fee & deadline to register with payment is Feb. 1st. No discounts.
